Who Are We?
We are the von Bergs, an American family of four who love traveling together, and your resource for budget family travel.
We started by planning a Family Gap Year and then kept traveling around the world.
After three years of full-time travel, we visited more than 30 countries together including 6 of the 7 Modern Wonders of the World.
In 2024 we started settling into a home base in Porto, Portugal. We continue to share our adventures both as expats and world travelers.
We aren’t backpackers, but we do travel on a budget. We love sharing our passion family travel with other families.
